Learning Circle with Dr. Maleeha Lodhi

Dr. Maleeha Lodhi is a seasoned diplomat with extensive experience in diplomacy, media, and teaching. She has previously represented Pakistan as Ambassador to the US, the UK, and the United Nations. She is the recipient of the President’s award of Hilal-e-Imtiaz for Public Service in Pakistan. Lodhi has also received an Honorary Fellowship from the London School of Economics in 2004 and an Honorary Degree of Doctor of Letters from London’s Metropolitan University in 2005. She regularly addresses top Think Tanks and other foreign policy forums across the world, drawing on her diplomatic skills and media background.

Dr. Lodhi spoke at the Shahzada Dawood Learning Circle (SDLC) on “Representing Pakistan on global stage”. She emphasised on the significance of using soft power as the strategy for diplomacy on the global stage. Dr. Lodhi shared her journey to represent Pakistan, and how she handled challenges and maximised the opportunities.
