WE Thrive: was launched on the International Women’s Day 2020 as a platform for women of Engro to connect across seniority levels, departments, subsidiaries, and locations. Enabling networking for authentic, trustworthy and supportive connections. It also entails creating opportunities for capability development of women, adaptive leadership & professional counselling
In Marketplace:
Engage with institutions & startups to create a strong external brand for "partners”, “customers” & “candidates"
Break Ke Baad Program: was launched in 2021 as our flagship program for women wanting to return to the corporate world after taking career break. First batch of 16 women have been onboarded, across the group, on project identified through extensive assessment for maximum learning and development.
For Community:
Enable & lead the way in developing local communities especially through women-centric projects
Uraan Associate Training Program: in 2020, Engro Vopak & Elengy Terminal launched this program to upskill the females located in the neighboring areas of their Port Qasim Plant. The batch hired every year goes through rigorous training in technical areas.
